Season 29, Week 4
Teepo
(Breath of Fire III)

Erstwhile dragon Teepo has success at his fingertips. Just a little bit more and he'll prove to that blue haired punk Ryu that he's not the only dragon with the power around these parts. Raquel may have a mean reputation, but she hasn't yet come up against something quite like the Dragon Lord. His devestating Triple Blow will wreak havoc on her body, while Howling will torture her mind, confusing her to the point where she doesn't even know the difference between a garden gnome and a platoonpus! Her defenses can't quite handle that sort of punishment, and her slug-like speed will prevent the Drifter from getting anything edgewise before Teepo puts her down for the count, in his best dragon style.

Raquel Applegate's flashing blade has pierced the darkness of Heavy so far, and she approaches the climax against Teepo! And this fight shall be a feast to the eyes, indeed. The Dragon Lord's flesh, while strong and resilient, won't stand up to Raquel's mighty sword stikes - her Princess Sabre easily rips through the strongest of armours without hesitation. Teepo's normally strong Triple Blow can't handle Raquel's armour and evasive maneuvers, and his back-up magic isn't strong enough to tear apart the hardened warrior. With Dragon's Edge to keep her healthy when things get rough, Raquel should slay this dragon and move on to bigger, more beautiful things.

SageAcrin
A sickly, unhealthy woman.

A dragon.

Is there any fairness in the world? How could these two possibly be evenly matched?

Surely a young, frail girl cannot possibly match the pure, raw power of one of the Brood, a dragon so strong that even a goddess might fear his wrath.

"And then, after pitying me a while, Myria handed me this sword." Raquel finished, critically examining the strange blade. "She said it was called Illumina, though she said it would return to her after one use." Raquel added, shaking her head. "Is Myria one of those people you mentioned, that they only let run loose because there's nowhere to cage them?"

"Yeah, basically." Arnaud replied. "You're not using that thing, right?"

"Of course not. I rely on my own blade." Raquel said, slightly indignate.

---

A massive chasm yawned in the arena floor and stands. A shattered line of concrete and steel cut it's way through the far wall, showing the countryside beyond.

As Raquel watched the Illumina fade in her hands, she simply sighed, shook her head, turned around, and walked off, as the crowd-what was still living out of the crowd-started murmuring.

"...Wow." Yulie said, staring down at the massive destruction a single swipe of the sword had caused. Jude simply nodded.

"Well, that taught me a valuable lesson." Arnaud said, shaking his head. "Remind me never, ever, ever be anywhere nearby when someone calls her a generic swordbitch. I mean, ever again." He said, staring down at the splattered remains of Teepo wedged into the cleft.
