Season 28, Week 4
Tir McDohl
(Suikoden Series)

Tir's come this far on the strength of the Soul Eater Rune, but he'll need to use a different facet of its power to guide him to another Godlike championship match. After all, Rika and Ash were easily defeated with Deadly Fingertips, but Fou-Lu is far too strong to be killed by the rune's trademark attack. Sadly for him, that's not the end of Tir's bag of tricks. The God-Emperor will have to endure the dark might of Judgment, and that'll be more than he can handle. The strategy is simple - Fou-Lu's strongest attack, Dark Wave, is linked to his HP. After Judgment hits him, the damage from the wave will be softened enough to survive, and Tir will be able to clean up, and walk into the final round.

The Dragon God has once more found himself on an easy path towards yet another Godlike championship. Divinity does have its advantages. With the power of the mighty Tyrant and Astral dragons at his beck and call, none have stood in his way for more than a minute before being crushed to dust. Not even the Tenkai star, leader of the Toran Republic Army, can pose a threat. While Tir may boast the power of the mighty Soul Eater Rune, not even the dark touch of its cursed power can harm Fou-Lu when he takes the form of the Tyrant. A single Dark Wave will rip Tir apart, turning the once great hero into a mere zero. Nothing can stand in the way of a God - nothing.

Tir has a real problem here. Instant Death attacks won't work on Fou-Lu.

Luckily, he has Judgement to do massive damage instead. It'll take all his castings of it and then some, but he can kill Fou-Lu.

Fou-Lu also has a problem here. Dark Wave is linked to his life, and the faster Tir will be able to get a shot of Judgement off before he can use it.

Luckily, Fou-Lu has lots of other attacks, like the various combo magics. A single casting of *those* puts even the hardiest characters into critical health.

So the question is, can Tir kill Fou-Lu before Fou-Lu can act twice?

Thou doth have to be kidding me.

Tir McDohl: 38
Fou-Lu: 61

Blitzing strategies = fail vs Fou-Lu.

Goodbye Tir. We knew the well.

Scar
Tir wins!

why?

He masters the Soul Eater just like Ted displayed in part 4 after holding the vile creation for ever so long. Thus, now, granting him parasitic healing and more sex appeal then the pale faced Dragon Boy can handle.

Game, set, match.
