Season 28, Week 3
Kefka
(Final Fantasy VI)

Again and again, duellers in the arena have fallen to the fearsome might of Kefka's signature Havok Wing. Godslayers, pigslayers, supermodels, Speed Racers... they're all the same after they've been blasted into paste, right? After his crushing defeat of the fellow false god, False Althena, he now faces his next victim; last season's Heavy champion, Elc. Kefka is hardly afraid, for even though the young man's stats, especially his speed, are impressive, he cannot stand against even a lone Havok Wing. He might have gotten easy draws before, and he even managed to defeat the Norse god Loki, but his luck has run out here. With Revenger to nullify boosts, Train to catch Elc off guard, and his backup spell arsenal in case Elc can survive Havok Wing, the mad clown is on a rampage, and he's not taking prisoners - now or ever.

Someone out there seems to have a penchant for pitting Elc against mad gods who destroy the world. It doesn't really bother the one and only Godhunter, though, because for everything Kefka has, Elc has a counter. Havok Wing? Elc's Magic Canceler halves physical special attacks as well as magical, making the damage laughable. Train? A Cure-All stops silence from hitting. And Kefka will be hard pressed to get the jump on Elc in the face of his Bravery Wings. With no way for the laughably frail Kefka to stop Invincible from going up, Elc just has to introduce Kefka's painted face to nice Mr. Axe a couple of times. Not even Revenger can save the psycho: Invincible doesn't permit indirect abilities to affect Elc either. This clown-school school reject is about to be utterly humiliated. He'll get over it, though. Freaks always do.

Kefka is a madman who plans to take over the world.

Elc is a noble hero, who is on a mission, ultimately, to save the world.

Sounds simple, right?

However, you have to remember two things.

One, Kefka actually took over the world.

Two, Elc ended up second fiddle to Arc.

The obvious conclusion is simple.

Elc gets drugged and stuffed into a hamper by Arc, who, as the true hero, takes on Kefka. And so, Arc is promptly Havok Winged through the floor.

Then Terra and her friends kill Kefka for no real reason besides him blowing up their rooms with the Light of Judgement a few hours ago.

All this before Elc even gets near the arena.

Naturally, Elc loses due to the interference of others.

Much like in his home game, honestly.

Elc: 29

Imperial
The mighty upset. Last seasons heavy champ defeats last seasons godlike champ. Invincibility doncha know.
