Season 28, Week 2
Imoen
(Baldur's Gate series)

A simple half-elf mage can't put up a fight against a spellcaster of divine blood. Case in point, Imoen steps into the arena to claim an easy win. While her illusion tricks won't be their against Genis' high-radius magic, her status attacks, backed by the spell saves typical to a high-class mage, are more than enough. Chaos and Domination will crush the weak-willed kid's mind, while Web and Stinking Cloud will shut down his frail body. Godlings from the Forgotten Realms have proven their might in the DL more than once, and that's not about to change.

All talk, no action. Imoen may have a divine, dark heritage, but what has she ever done to prove that she can outperform a talented half-elf magus such as Genis? Following in the footsteps of his friends, as well as his sister Raine, it's time for Genis to cook up a bit of mayhem in Light! With the mighty Indignation, Meteor Storm and Prism Sword, Genis easily outmatches Imoen's magic! With Forcefield to guard him from Imoen's darker castings, Genis will effortlessly obliterate the frail magic thief with his arcana, proving who is the superior magical genius, just like that.

Calling down the wrath of heaven on someone so closely assosiated with Bhaalspawn is funny. Torching the frail Imoen with a taste of her own medicine is funnier. Kicking her body to the curb while Lloyd cheered him own was even funnier. Who'd have thunk Genis would manhandle the sister of a god like that?

Too bad Raine wasn't amused by his victory celebration. Getting spanked in front of a whole arena isn't very fun.

Imoen: 22
Genis Sage: 38

Genis has crazy damage... And his Casting speed isn't bad with the right EX Spheres... Why the hell is he light?
