Season 28, Week 2
Endora
(Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen)

March on, Black Queen. Empress Endora's destruction of the armies of Zenobia may have been near total, but it pales in comparsion to the Hell she's about to inflict upon the foolish, twentieth-century mortal who dares enter combat with her. The man with the chin of doom may have nearly limitless style, but he's got just one reason to be in Godlike: his powerful, accurate and deadly status attacks. Endora's natural immunity to those attacks gives her a large advantage...and an opening to crush Kato's Susano-O armor with wave after wave of crushing, brutal spells.

Leading with his chin, Masaji Kato returns to the arena long after a crushing debut loss. Fortunately enough, Kato's first opponent this time is not a former champ, but instead a frail sorceress. Endora might have a wide array of blistering magics at her fingertips, but she is sorely lacking in durability. This is a weakness not shared by Kato's mighty Susano-O form, which can soak up Endora's arcane assault and answer her in kind. Driven and determined as always above all others, Kato will see to it that Final Revelation is the final thing the Black Queen sees this season.

It was a lightly popluated match. While Endora and Kato both had plenty of fans, it was considered to be a dull match by godlike standards, especially with Fou-Lu returning to action in the arena over at the same time. Endora looked at the crowd, a bit dissapointed. People were going to miss a show. Without skipping a beat, she focused in again on her opponent.

"You seek to challenge me, youngling? Look here! We're on the outskirts of Godlike, surrounded by much tougher enemies. Let's work together. Here's a gesture to prove my words." Endora waved her hands to the outside of the ring. Standing in the front row stood none other than Kawashima! "H..how?" Without another word, Kato ran out of the ring and hugged her. Endora simply collected her win without another word, and left the arena.

Hours later

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Endora looked up from her spellbook. "Seems the illusion spell lasted longer than I thought." Without another word, Endora set extra guards in front of her door and went to go enjoy a victory celebration, as far away from Kato as possible.
