Season 25, Week 3
Mog
(Final Fantasy VI)

Poor Mog. Having to fight an ally in battle? Well, it's certainly not the first time the League has split up a good friendship. His opponent does have some edges, such as accurate status... but Mog's not daunted! His tactics are simple: get as much magic blocking equipment and status blockers as possible and... dance up a storm! Hopefully, with a Dusk Requiem(Which, handily, is suited to the city life of the arena), he can Snare his opponent to a horrible death. Barring that, he can always talk Strago into wearing a Moogle Suit and playing a shell game with Zophar. Either way, it's sure to be an exciting match!

Even wise old Strago Magus wouldn't have foreseen that one day he would have to fight a comrade-in-arms, but that day has come. And with a trip to the semi-finals on the line and a championship within sight, the old man isn't going to pull any punches. Mog's defences are impressive indeed, but no amount of defence protects against the piercing Grand Train attack, nor from the deadly statuses inflicted by Strago's much-feared Bad Breath. Strago could even equip a Moogle Suit for this match and test Mog's willpower to its limits... but no need to add insult to injury, right?

If there's one thing you don't want to step on while dancing, it's a rake. Mog wins by dancing. Strago has Aqua Rake. I think the winner here is clear....

Mog: 35
Strago Magus: 69
