Somewhere in the stands, a terrorist leader is gritting his teeth and cursing as he watches his girlfriend get a much better win rate than he ever could. Meanwhile Antenora can't help but smile and smile and smile. She doesn't intend to stop her winning streak, either. Sure, Adel's immune to her status tricks, but even reduced to her more mundane attacks, Antenora has roughly the same damage and twice the durability. That's all she needs to take down the Sorceress renowned for losing to Laguna. |

"Ugliest Woman Alive" is not what you'd call a proud title. It certainly fits Adel, though...as does the much nicer-sounding "Heavy Champion"! And smashing her way past Antenora and into the semifinals will be as easy as scaring small children with her visage, since a boss who relies on status to get the job done is an easy foe for the status-immune Adel. With both Meteor and Ultima as brutal trump cards, the sorceress has enough offense to level an army, let alone a terrorist's twisted girlfriend. |
SageAcrin Adel's power has one major flaw. Some of it came from a Sorceress she merged with, the one time anyone has seen her full power. Needless to say, this isn't an ability Adel can normally use. However, in this case, a little "bribing" of the judges(Who were Noel, Vincent and Kinnison. Bribing, threatening to rip their kidneys out, same thing.) and a Mickey Finn later, and Adel had Rinoa strapped to her chest. Unfortunately, it turns out that merging with a unconcious woman has some downsides. Like being unable to think clearly, or actually cast spells. You know, little downsides. Well, maybe not so little. Adel promptly fell over onto Antenora as the battle started, in a daze. However, Antenora's actually a lot smaller than Adel, and despite her struggles, she couldn't get the dazed, but still concious, Adel off her. So, Antenora ended up smothered unconcious by a knocked out Rinoa's chest. While possibly not the most disturbing way to win on record, this certainly ranks up there. Adel swore off ever touching Rinoa, no matter how much power it would bring her. Oh, Antenora? Outside of now screaming in terror at the mention of Rinoa's name and blowing up the nearest people/objects/buildings, she's fine. Oh, and she keeps cats, now. Lots and lots of cats. Antenora: 30 |
