Season 3, Week 2
Locke Cole
(Final Fantasy VI)

Fearless treasure hunter and rebel against evil empires, Locke Cole can't exactly be pleased with bearing the disgrace of being the only Final Fantasy male lead in Light. As such, he seeks to remedy this quickly. Melville's no opponent to be taken lightly, but Locke's insane speed ensures he has the upper hand in this one. Even more important to Locke's success than his speed is his weaponry, which, in the absense of any useful skills or magic, are his only method of attacking. His Valiant Knife is a very powerful weapon, however, ignoring defence and growing ever stronger as Locke loses HP to Melville's blows. As long as Locke doesn't meet a powerful status attacker, he's ready to rip this division's lungs out!

Saint Loa Knights, march! Melville fearlessly leads the youngest group of "Knights" in the world into battle, against foes both real and imagined. Although Melville doesn't have great stats, or remarkable durability, he does have one thing. Heavy Damage. His physical, with some luck, can make even the strongest fighter wince in pain (or envy). Those brutal critical hits will be put to the test in Melville's first match. Locke is no slouch in the arena, and he's a thief, to boot! Melville will give it his all, in the name of the Knights, to beat this foul knave into the dirt.

Locke can equip Wing Edge, get even faster, and get a 25% chance to kill Melville each hit. If Meville can't kill Locke in 4 turns, he's basically lost...heck, what am I saying? Valiant Knife would win there too, since ecah turn, providing Locke's hit (and if he's not, well, that's a free turn for Locke, but his M. Block isn't that great), his damage goes up too. Its like first 2200, then 3200, then 4000...which is almost as much cumulatitve damage as, say, Ultima. Don't think Meville is surviving that.
