Season 3, Week 1
Sneff
(Chrono Cross)

Sneff may be one of the few people in the RPGDL who is even weaker than Grey is, but they doesn't stop him from being a little confident going into this match. Grey is a far cry from a powerhouse, and thanks to his HP Shuffle technique, Sneff might well put himself out of the Einherjar's reach. With a little bit of timing, luck, and patience, the arthritic magician could whittle his opponent down to nothing.

Grey isn't exactly the strongest of Lenneth's Einherjar. In fact, with a Purify Weird Soul attack that does less damage than his REGULAR physical, he's in the running for weakest. Still, while Grey is certainly no powerhouse, he can take comfort in the fact that his opponent is far weaker. Grey at least manages to have average physical stats, while his opponent has terrible everything... HP, Strength, Defence, you name it. Add in the fact that Grey's Bahamut Tear boosts his PWS to slightly less pathetic levels, and the fact that his physical attack ignores evasion, and he should have the clear edge in this fight. His only real worry is that Sneff has one potential use of full healing with HP Shuffle, but given how unreliable that move is, and the fact that he might just be able to off Sneff despite that given the Zelbess magician's scrubbiness, that's not much of a worry for Grey.

Grey's blade was too swift for Sneff. After all, he will not die, and twas Lemia who saved him, he shall not forget; he shall not throw away victory so easily.
