Season 22, Week 2
General Leo
(Final Fantasy VI)

What a battle this will be - Leo's razor-sharp and devestating physical attacks matches against Lulu's staggeringly powerful doublecast spells. Neither will go down quickly, as both fighters boast incredible evasion along with stellar evasion. Despite their evenly-matched powers, however, Leo will be the easy victor for two simple reasons: First, he holds a rather massive advantage in speed; and second, his Offering renders Lulu's evasion worthless. Not only that, the Offering also allows his plain physical attack rival the best of his game in sheer damage. It wouldn't be long before a shot to double up and strike down Lulu come quickly... and two straight attack chains will strike down even the hardiest of fighters.

The buxom doll-wielding magess of Besaid returns to the DL arena after a long eleven-season hiatus, eager to put her magical talents to the test once more. Her opponent being quite the seasoned warrior himself, Lulu will have to put all her arcane knowledge to use to win this fight. Fortunately, this isn't as tough as it looks. Lulu is a nimble dodger and (interestingly enough) far hardier than your average mage, making Leo's strikes less potent than usual. Not even a battle-hardened veteran like Leo will be able to stand up against Lulu's onslaught of Flares, and should she feel especially malicious, a double-casting of Death will surely send the formerly-dead general back to the underworld once more.

Dark Holy Elf
Poor General Leo. Killed once by Kefka. Killed again by Alys. Then killed about a dozen times with Lulu's Death spell when he foolishly let her get an Overdrive.

Sure, he may live in a world with easy resurrection, but that doesn't stop him from now having a strong phobia of death. Can you really blame him?

General Leo: 28
Lulu: 51

Dunefar
Leo's already dead, so Lulu can't kill him again. It's a shame, since dead or not, his Crystal Sword and Offering attacks are going to turn Lulu into shredded meat. Pity.

General Leo slashed at Lulu with a flurry of swords. Lulu overdrived and sent a flurry of death spells his direction. When the dust cleared they were both collapsed on the ground.

For several minutes both lay motionless on the ground. Then, slowly, an arm twiched, a leg moved to a kneeling position, and the victor slowly stood up:
