Season 22, Week 1
Sofia
(Dragon Warrior IV)

After 10 long seasons recovering from her decisive defeat at the hands of Fou-Lu, Sofia has finally returned… only to face his Breath of Fire boss counterpart, the dreaded goddess Myria! The Zenethian hero is in for the fight of her life here, for Myria is well set for all occasions, more than anyone else in the league. Fortunately, Sofia has all the tools she needs; Fendspell to deflect Myria’s magical onslaught, the legendary Zenithian armor to soften the goddess's mighty blows, and the potent Healall to match her opponent's unholy durability. The fight will be long and brutal, but such tales are the only ones worth remembering.

Returning to the arena yet again, Myria intends to make up for the first round loss she suffered the last time she entered the DL. Her first victim, Sofia, will soon feel the true wrath of a Fury. With blistering speed, the goddess can immediately force Sofia into a defensive position with her devastating physical attacks, one the puny mortal has little hope to recover from. If the Zenithian warrior somehow manages to put up a better fight than expected, Myria can simply unleash her even more devastating Mjollnir spell and the dreaded Holocaust breath attack. All Myria needs for victory is to press her assault and watch Sofia crumple beneath her.

Welcome, one and all! Welcome to the one place that is suitable and proper for women to battle it out; the kitchen! Forget ugly swords and manly magics, these fragile beauties deserves to be barefoot and cooking Solo and Fou Lu dinner! Now, we'll...OHGODARGHTHEPAIN!

*Cue image of annoucer being carted off on a stretcher, above a large TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES*

Anyway, at some point Myria went ahead and won the match. It was rather moot, as I think we can all agree that the above was more interesting than a Venom/Holocaust/Bolt X beatdown.

Sofia: 13
Myria: 37

The daughter of an angel smiting the wicked serpant-goddess. I think there was a chapter in Revelations kinda like this. In RPG terms, I think that means the judges look away, Xenogears Itself appears and throws the serpant into a fiery pit, and the angels ascend back to the heavens.
Yeah, I kinda slept through Revelations. Pretty sure Sofia won, though.
