Tai Ho returns to the DL arena, fresh and confident after beating the bishop Renault! Facing off with another Star of Destiny, he'll be putting all of his spearing and fishing skills to the test against his silver-tongued foe. Estella's Final Flame may deal considerable damage, but Tai Ho's already seen that mages in this division tend to live up to their notoriety for poor physical durability. With his trusty Killer Rune and his famous luck, Tai Ho's bound to land a match-ending strike before he frail Estella can even begin to disseminate any more of her conniving lies. Besides, how could he ever sway to the wheezing old woman's tall tales when he's stared down the giftedly persuasive Sheena Lepant without batting an eye? |

Having dutifully informed Lorenta that chimeras had begun to infest Flenceburg, Estella moves on in her quest to spread truth and justice. And with Tai Ho, well, where does one start? Perhaps with his wife’s secret connections to the Howling Voice Guild, or possibly the jealous machinations of his long-time friend Yam Koo. There's almost too much ground to cover with this sadly ignorant and misguided man of the sea. Of course, the truth can hurt, and should he react to her revelations with violence, Tai Ho’s experienced spear could inflict a fair deal of damage. But Estella backs up her fiery oratories with her potent Final Flame spells, so there’s little question about who will have the last word in this Suikoden-rich match-up. |
AAA Ahh, the matches where games in a series face off. Sometimes the matches are truly epic, deserving of massive speculation and interpretation. And other times a lame fisherman and a pathological liar mage have a scrubfest. Guess which time this one is? Anyway, Estella's magic should fry Tai Ho. And after the match, they go their own seperate ways. Tai Ho goes to fish, gamble, and insert himself into far more powerful groups to the annoyance of all, and Estella goes back to making up silly rumors and frightening small children with her appearance.
