Season 20, Week 1
Nate Nanjo
(Persona)

New faces are always a delight to see, but Nate Nanjo is one of those favorites you can't do without. And facing his favorite kind of opponent - a Sorceress who pales before the magical resilience of Alfred - Nate will be definitely be sticking around this season. This should be a pathetically easy fight for the heir to the Nanjo fortune: with Endora's only saving grace out of the way, Nate is free to show the world his talented sword-skills out on the Black Queen with no fear of retaliation. Such is fate, as they say: money really is power.

Ruin awaits Nate Nanjo in the Arena. The Black Queen, responsible for so much death and destruction, is about to show him the real power of magery. Nate may shrug off your garden-variety mage, but Endora's Meteor spell strikes brutally at Nate's elemental weakness, smashing his magic reflection into dust. Two spells overkill Nate, and Endora's best trait is her blistering speed. The only choice facing Endora is if it's better to kill young Nanjo with her darkness aligned Meteor and Phantom spells, or the physical Wind Shot just to further mock Nate's defenses.

As the ruler of BtS with a long history of DL successes to boast of, Nate Nanjo commands any and everyone who comes across his path. Even the fearsome Necron was barely able to contain his blistering sword skills.

However, even the most imperious of rulers has it's match. Nate's mastery of the school yard and BtS arena is one thing, but Endora's blood reign shattered thousands of lives and destroyed an entire system of kingdoms.

As much as Nate's dominated for once by an opponent's mental game, the actual duel itself is quite possibly ugiler. Nate, for all of his brilliant defensive tricks, has one little flaw. Darkness magic. So little, it only happens on the rarest of occasions. The strongest and rarest of all elements..

The one that the Black Queen was forged in, at the hands of Rashidi. Looks like Nate's 'one little flaw' is about to be blown up into a giant problem, focused into a pair of metoers, and crashing into him before he can so much as raise his sword to defend himself.
