Season 20, Week 1
Kefka
(Final Fantasy VI)

Finally, after seasons upon seasons of failure, the mad clown Kefka has finally gotten what (he thinks) he deserves: a Godlike championship. Now, as he begins his defense of the title, he faces some downright pitiful resistance: a mere sword-slinging magess. Didn't he deal with two of them in his own game? Don't expect mercy this week, though - Kefka will surely make this fight a spectacle to remember. While Anastasia's mighty Impulse might sting a lot, it won't be enough to save her from the ultimate magic: Ultima. Not even the slayer of Lord Blazer can withstand such powerful magic for long, ending this minor "threat" to Kefka's dominance.

Finally making her reappearance in the Arena after a long wait, the Sword Magess faces a doozy of a first match: a duel with the reigning Godlike champion. With great speed and damage up the wazoo, it's almost a wonder how the Empire's insane general took this long to get a championship. Anastasia, of course, has just the thing to beat the jester of Gestahl's court into a bloody pulp. See, Impulse is a strong technique that becomes even more deadly if Ana gets hurt. So after Kefka attacks, the damage the frail clown inflicted will return to him a hundred-fold, leaving him a splattered stain on the wall while she leaves the arena a victor.

Poor Anastasia.

If she came at a later date, she may have had a chance. But do to month after month of losing on Kefka's side, he is MAD.

And when Kefka gets MAD, somebody is going to DIE!

Kefka: 56
Anastasia Valeria: 15

Sure Anastasia can do huge damage to Kefka thanks to Impulse but is there a single person out there faster than Kefka? I should think not. Kefka will crush Anastasia before she gets to attack a second time.

Dude, Cefca must win! (PS, for all non-Japanese folk out there, Cefca is his real name.)

Hello, ladies and gents. Sorry that I couldn't vote for a few years. Anyways, if Kefka could get the chance to transform into his final form, then he'll have a REALLY nice edge!
