Evil has many faces. But the truest, strongest form of evil lies beyond frippery and artifice; indeed it has no need for these superficial things. No, evil is at its best when it is nothing but the very essence of fear and brutality, a truth that shall be proven in most spectacular fashion this week. Needing only Its brutal strength and impressive longevity, the Profound Darkness will pay no heed to Kuja's pathetic tricks. When Kuja finally succumbs to the last casting of Megid, however, Profound Darkness will once more herald Its unholy majesty for all of Godlike to see. |

It isn't often that an admitted villain like Kuja gets tasked with purging evil, but that's exactly what the draw gods had in store for him. Facing his second incarnation of evil in as many matches, Kuja will once again rely on his weakness-striking Holy spell - a normally respectable spell that will be upped to very dangerous levels indeed. And while Kuja can't claim to be nearly as durable as his opponent, he is much, much faster. With a Flare Star counter or two thrown in, Kuja is sure to continue towards his third Godlike championship! |
Jo'ou Ranbu Despite appearances, the Profound Darkness and Kuja were good friends. Friends that sit down in front of a cafe and talk about things, that watch movies together and spend friday nights in their nighties talking about men while polishing each other's nails and wearing guacamole beauty masks. Of course, that was all before the DL existed. And it all started with a rather disasterous experiment Kuja did on PD, one that no one really knew about. Even Kuja probably forgot about that. The Profound Darkness, however, didn't. When she appeared in the arena wearing a one-way bikini with a blonde wig and enough makeup to make Kefka look clean - along with a mile-long pink scarf - all of the spectators knew they were ready for something rather disturbing. The last words Kuja heard before having his body shredded by the Profound Darkness's dark tentacles was "YOU SAID I LOOKED PRETTY AS A TRANNY! I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!!!". Friendships don't have to end for powerful reasons. And they can end in a rather strangely sexual and murderous way. Profound Darkness: 42 |
