Season 19, Week 2
Seed
(Suikoden II)

The second representative of Highland military in Godlike, Seed finds his Heavy championship parade being rained on by a foe he never dreamed of facing. Considering he isn't even as strong as the most powerful dragons in his own world, Seed likely has little chance against arguably the strongest dragon of them all, the Endless Fou-Lu. However, he does possess a huge speed advantage over his foe, as well as just the type of offence Fou-lu fears most: fire magic. A clever military man with an arsenal of fire attacks has stood up to Fou-Lu before, and Seed intends to see it happen again.

Godlike champion Fou-Lu returns to the DL today, and he is going to make the upstart Seed wish he was back in Heavy. For such a simple opponent, Fou-Lu needs no complex strategy. An opening Dark Wave will tear through most of Seed's hit points, if not kill him outright, and nothing Seed can do will stop Fou-Lu from blasting the Highland General with another one. Seed will be the first of the mortals Fou-Lu will punish for intruding on the realm of the gods.

Luca Blight and Seed both know they are outmatched in this weeks contests. Deciding not to be fools they devise a plan to take each of their opponents 2 on 1.

Seed stares down Fou-Lu in the arena as the match is starting. Right when the bell rings Luca Blight dives out of the crowd at Fou-Lu.

Fou-Lu dodges Luca, but now knows that he is in for the fight of his life. Both enemies focus on Fou-Lu with their own fire attacks, but the dragon god refuses to go down.

After many minutes of fighting the nearly dead Fou-Lu steps out of the arena, both of his opponents laying on its floor.

Minutes later Indalecio steps into the arena for his match. The bell rings and he is declared the victor by default because his opponent is unable to fight.

Seed: 12
Fou-Lu: 58

Seed has one reason he beats Fou-Lu.

Fire magic. Even the mighty Endless Emperor has a weak spot, or two. He's not fast, and he cries if flames are thrown at him. Combine the two, and it's easy to see Seed winning.
