Season 18, Week 3
Cyan Garamonde
(Final Fantasy VI)

Cyan has before him something of an unexpected match this week, Hawkeye being his equal in both honor (copious) and agility (not so much). Yes, that's right. For once, time is actually on Cyan's side, the mighty Berserker's plodding steps giving the knight ample time to charge for a devastating SwdTech. Or he could just use Slash, which cuts down the mighty giant's health in half no matter how massive it may be. Two of those followed by a swift Dispatch should seal the deal for Doma's last survivor.

In the game of Fire Emblem, luck is a powerful force. It can determine whether a character is weak or strong, and it can decide the fate of an entire battle. Thankfully for Hawkeye, luck was with him last battle, as he struck down an opponent far fiercer than that which he faces now. Cyan has speed problems due to the charge times on his decent techniques, which will allow Hawkeye to land several blows on his foe with his Swordreaver or Killer Axe. This should be all Hawkeye needs to defeat him, so long as luck doesn't fail him now.

Cyan holds a weapon triangle advantage and a speed advantage, here? Light's had some pathetic matches, but they're usually between blind girls and old, bald men, not vigorous honor-bound warriors. This might be the most depressing fight ever.

It's also massively dependent on interpretation, so I'm just going to wave this "Cyan for Light Champ!" flag I have here, and then I'm going to back out of this room real slow.
