Season 18, Week 3
Debonair
(Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen)

Kaus Debonair proved much in his debut match. In destroying the sole survivor of the Arc the Lad 3 delegation, he overcame all those who doubted him and his ability to stand up to a tough fight. He now sets his sights higher, as he attempts to remove one of the leaders of the Arc universe. His excellent evasion and magical defenses shut down any hope of Elc landing damaging blows, and his own speed lets him pick and choose when to poke and close in. With the heart of a hero and the spirit of a leader, Debonair looks to put to rest the foul Arc the Lad invasion of Heavy.

Besides following on the footsteps of his compatriot Diekbeck, Elc has an additional motive for winning this week: revenge. Debonair defeated the last ranked Arc the Lad 3 character, and the Pyrean is looking to defend the honor of his series. Of course, this should be an easy task, for Debonair has no way to break through the combo of Invincible and Divide, and Debonair’s strikes may even trigger powerful counters from fire mage. Elc’s win won’t just propel him onward towards a Heavy championship, it will also avenge a fallen friend.

Elc and Debonair is an epic match. Blade against blade, armor against armor..

Oh wait. Elc can heal, make himself immune to damage for a short period of time, and do something besides poke at something with a pointy sword. Better luck next time, Slayer of Arc the Lad.
