Season 18, Week 2
Deis
(Breath of Fire Series)

Deis's spotty Godlike record is something she plans on righting this season, and X-Death, the less-than-competent evil tree of Final Fantasy V fame, should be the perfect foe to ease her into winning ways. With her monstrous durability by any standards, she has nothing to fear from her foe's underwhelming damage. This leaves the inaccurate White Ball as her foe's only means of defeating her, and the wisdom Deis has accumulated through her many centuries has let her shrug off far more dangerous status attacks than that.. Leading the way with her infamous BoltX, Deis plans to re-establish two well-known facts: that there's always room for a snake-woman in Godlike, and that trees don't like being struck by lightning.

The evil emperor X-Death returns in another attempt to become the first tree with a Godlike championship. The first obstacle between him and this goal is the ancient sorceress Deis. Her infinite healing capabilities and extremely high magic defense render even X-Death's powerful arcane magicks useless, but as always, the one and only Godlike tree has several backup plans: the extremely deadly status attack White Ball which inflicts both petrification and instant death, as well as his powerful physical attacks which hit Deis's much lower physical defense. With his deadly attacks and ancient wisdom, the tree emperor is ready to prove that in the epic battle between good and evil, good doesn't always emerge victorious.

Exdeath is a destructive....tree. His plan for this match was simple enough. Use the same tech over and over again until it turned his opponent to stone.

Deis is an ancient, wise sorceress. Her idea of a good way to win a match is to analyze the opponent's weaknesses....and, as it turns out, almost every enemy in Exdeath's world has one....Excluding Exdeath himself. Supposedly.

However, logically, rules of one world can't be broken so easily...yet he was clearly not weak to anything common. Deis' research eventually paid off...

...As she walked into the arena, pulled out a microphone, and started singing "1000 Words".

Turns out that Exdeaths weakness is pop music. As the crowd watch, Exdeath shuddered, then exploded into a massive cloud of splinters.

The Spice Gulls(A band consisting of Rikku, Yuna, Precis, and Selphie.) later tried to sign Deis up. Sadly, they were in for a shocking rejection...
