He had a mere onion to slay last week, and Kimahri's current opponent doesn’t look to be much of an improvement. Pampered princes aren’t exactly known for their battle prowess, and Kimahri plans to make sure this will be a battle Enrique never forgets. Although his trademark Evade & Counter won’t help him much against Enrique’s unavoidable attack, he still has his physical attack to wear down the prince of Valua. Kimahri’s overdrive will finally prove to be useful in this battle, because if he reaches them, this little priss will be turned into a block of stone, giving Kimahri a free ride to the semi-finals. |

The Prince of Valua continues on his just quest to claim a Middle championship and bring honour to his homeland. Though he's facing a much more dangerous opponent than last week, he's still unlikely to lose. Kimahri's Evade & Counter ability hardly scare the prince, considering that his special techniques are impossible to dodge. Enrique's magic further destroys Kimahri's chances, as a shot of Driln will cripple the Ronso for the entire fight, and Increm and Quika will make the prince nearly untouchable. As long as he can avoid Kimahri's Ronso Rages, the prince should have this fight in the bag. |
OblivionKnight Rapier met lance. Parry met thrust. For every thrust that Kimahri could manage with his lance, the prince managed to evade it and counter with his own rapier. The Ronso stepped back, slashed and scarred, but he gave the faintest smile. With a roar, he leaped up into the air, intent on driving Longinus down through Enrique's body. Unfortunately, that's when Enrique decided to play his trump card, and use a technique Gilder had taught him. Raising his hand, he yelled "Mess with me, and you mess with the Delphinus!" Seconds later, the famous battleship appeared in the sky, right above where Kimahri had lept. The Ronso's head cracked upon hitting the metal hull, and he fell several hundred metres to the ground, breaking every bone in his body and breaking his spear in half as well. Enrique stood over his opponent, knelt, and raised his sword into the air. "For honour...for victory". Kimahri Ronso: 8 |
