Season 10, Week 1
Citan Uzuki (Hyuga Ricdeau)
(Xenogears)

The dueller formerly known as Hyuga is calm and collected as he prepares for his battle against Darkham of Dilzweld. After all, who knows how to deal with the leader of an evil empire better than Citan Uzuki? With but a few workings of his Ether skills the Guardian Angel will be running circles around the behatted emperor, and the frigid strokes of Crystal Water will be magnified past even their usual chilly might. In addition, a well-chosen Body Guard will protect Citan from the paralyzing techniques of his enemy, and his competent healing will keep him fresh. Yes, ladies and gentlemen: the good doctor is in.

The Emperor of Dilzweld and (almost) eradicator of the Deimos race is ready for his first bout in the RPGDL. His opponent this week is of the same species as himself, but that doesn't mean Darkham will hold back in any way whatsoever. With his unlimited supply of paralysis grenades, Darkham can easily disable the Guardian Angel, opening up the way for a couple Blackout spells or simple sword swings. It's a good fight for the would-be genocidal maniac, but Darkham will stop at nothing to win this battle - he'll need to to complete his work.

Citan and Darkham stood facing each other in the ring, staring at each other.

"A sword fight. An honorable way to mark my first DL match." With those words, Citan and Darkham lauched into a furious battle. Sword clashed against Katana, with neither fighter showing an advantage.

"Hrumph. It appears that you require me to pull out my greatest trick!" With those words, Darkham fell into a short trance, and hurled a paralysis curse at Citan. Much to his surprise, the normally accurate move fell apart on contact with the Guardian Angel of Solaris.

"Do you take me for a fool, Darkham?" Citan shook his head, and smiled sadly. "I was prepared for your trick. Let's see if you can handle mine!" With a wave of his arms, Citan cast his legandary Senkei spell, and closed in on Darkham.

Much to the disapointment of the crowd, Darkham had no defenses for a super fast Katana blow to the head.
