Welcome back to week 2 of season 28, my friends! We have quite a few more battles this week, so I hope you're all excited! But first, the Results are up, so make sure you go and look.

This week, Godlike will amaze and astound you! Ash Lambert, the infamously and oddly maligned Vandalier will be facing Tir Mcdohl, wielder of the Soul Eater. These two young men have an almost infinite supply of power behind them, but only one of them can remain standing when the fight is over.

In Heavy... ah, well, it looks as if I will be fighting, my friends! I will be facing off against Id, the incarnate of destruction! However, I have little to worry about... Id is nothing before my blade! Haha! Ah, I suppose I should be impartial. Id does have a lot of speed and evasion, but I wonder if those can see him through to the end?

The recently-crowned Light champion, Hellion, now faces off against someone who may make her quite unhappy! Jerin, the half-elf, has a variety of tricks and abilities that can shut Hellion down! However, Jerin isn't known for having very good damage, so Hellion may be able to live through her magical assaults on her own.

Thomas and Lulu were never able to meet each other in person, but that doesn't stop them from trying to beat the other. Thomas has several special skills to back him up, excelling in almost all of them. Lulu, however, has a Cyclode Sword Rune to cast to make Thomas feel a bit more pain. I wonder which of these young men will come out the victor?

Please hurry over to the The Arena's in order to cast your vote as soon as possible!

Thank you for coming to see me, my friends. Chisato and her associates have quite a bit of fun things to show you this week in Behind The Scenes, so I hope you enjoy!
Welcome to Behind the Scenes, the show that's only marginally less dangerous than jumping into oncoming traffic! On today's show, we'll see just who the most annoying Light is this season, chat with the second-most homicidal redhead in the studio, and watch as we bother the ren-fest dragon god. And now, the star of our show, Miss Chisato Madison!
Good to see you! Morte's out of town, so let's get started. Our first guests are from Light, and need no introduction.
Hi!
Greetings-chu.
Oh no.
Lulu, you're probably best known as being cannon fodder that perpetuated the conflict between Hugo and Chris. How does that make you feel?
Hey, at least I'm memorable. I mean, look at all the other Suikoden people. You wouldn't be able to pick half of them out of a lineup. But everyone loves Lulu!
You're joking.
No, I actually think he's serious.
But Hugo said that I'm popular.
Did he perchance say why?
Not really.
To be blunt, your death scene's one of the most enjoyable parts of your game, and that's primarily because of the people involved.
It's my screensaver on my laptop, actually.
But, but...
Were you paying any attention at all to the start of the show? We invited you because you're annoying.
But...
And here come the waterworks.
Waaah!
Right. Well, Chu-Chu's going to have to do a lot to beat that. Let's get it over with.
Hooray! Time for Chu-Chu to shine!
Chu-Chu wins?
Chu-Chu wins. Get him out of here and we'll head for Middle.
Hey!
Come on, you little fuzzball. And don't get in Locke's way.
Hi.
Hello.
Hello, boys. Let's start with Albert, shall we? It's been quite a while since we've seen you in the arena. How has your training been going?
I'm shaking off the rust quite well. After my downgrade, there was quite a while where I really didn't care all that much about practicing, but now all I want is to do my best and lay a thrashing on that pansy gunner.
So you're confident in your victory?
Of course. I'm not going to guarantee a win - that would be something my opponent would do. But I think it's likely that I'll be back here next week.
Well, that all depends on the scheduling. Now, Locke... um, could you put that camera down?
What camera?
The one with "Property of NanjoCorp" stencilled on the side that's sticking out of your pockets?
Ultros, how could you have let him... Ultros? Where did he go?
Mmmph! Mmmph! Get me out of here!
Oh, sorry about that.
So much emptiness... things floating all around... cold, so cold...
Now Locke, you know I frown on people misappropriating my co-stars.
Sorry, Chisato.
Just don't do it again, you scamp.
Wait, so he shoves studio equipment (and me) into a pocket dimension, and he gets off scot free?
Yes. Now quit complaining, keep shooting, and bring in the Heavies.
All right, it's time for some violence. Say hello to Marcy and Id.
Hmmph.
Yeah, hi.
Id, give the Frenchie hell for me, will you?
Like I'd do it for your sake. It's about time to get back to officially kicking ass, and if I happen to avenge my loss to that Karayan twerp, all the better.
Lulu?
No, you miserable excuse for a Chun-Li cosplayer, Hugo!
You take that back, carrot-top!
Bring it on, kid!
You think he took my comment about not being as homicidal as the boss personally?
I don't know, it's hard to tell with him.
In any case, let's wrap this up with our final guest, who's back again after a long hiatus and looking for his second title. Hello, Fou-Lu!
Good day, m'lady.
Well, the first question I have is rather obvious. Your last season saw you lose in the finals to our current Godlike Champion. Will you consider this season a failure if you don't get to square off against Kefka, even if you win the title?
Art thou mad? I be not in the same mindset as Ryu. I doth believe that victory supercedes revenge. The fight is not everything. Mine goal is to showcase all the power I doth bear, regardless of the foe.
And that brings me to my next question - is it really necessary to speak that bastardised version of Olde English?
Mock me if thou will, but nary has a courtesan found fault in my... speech.
You were going to say "tongue", weren't you.
True, but that hath a very different meaning, as the mimir wouldst say.
Right. Last question, Fou - what's your strategy for beating Miguel?
He be no more than a simple fisherman. I shall play to mine own strengths, rather than concentrate on what he may do.
Just be careful, you know what happened the last time you were overconfident against a guy who liked to fish.
If I be not mistaken, I defeated said "guy" in the arena. Twice, in fact.
And on that arrogant note, that's all for us at Behind the Scenes. Until next week, this is Chisato Madison, signing off.
