Ash Lambert, the infamously and oddly maligned Vandalier will be facing Tir Mcdohl, wielder of the Soul Eater. These two young men have an almost infinite supply of power behind them, but only one of them can remain standing when the fight is over. In Heavy... ah, well, it looks as if I will be fighting, my friends! I will be facing off against Id, the incarnate of destruction! However, I have little to worry about... Id is nothing before my blade! Haha! Ah, I suppose I should be impartial. Id does have a lot of speed and evasion, but I wonder if those can see him through to the end? The recently-crowned Light champion, Hellion, now faces off against someone who may make her quite unhappy! Jerin, the half-elf, has a variety of tricks and abilities that can shut Hellion down! However, Jerin isn't known for having very good damage, so Hellion may be able to live through her magical assaults on her own. Thomas and Lulu were never able to meet each other in person, but that doesn't stop them from trying to beat the other. Thomas has several special skills to back him up, excelling in almost all of them. Lulu, however, has a Cyclode Sword Rune to cast to make Thomas feel a bit more pain. After my downgrade, there was quite a while where I really didn't care all that much about practicing, but now all I want is to do my best and lay a thrashing on that pansy gunner. In any case, let's wrap this up with our final guest, who's back again after a long hiatus and looking for his second title. Hello, Fou-Lu! Good day, m'lady. Well, the first question I have is rather obvious. Your last season saw you lose in the finals to our current Godlike Champion. Will you consider this season a failure if you don't get to square off against Kefka, even if you win the title? Art thou mad? I be not in the same mindset as Ryu. I doth believe that victory supercedes revenge. The fight is not everything. Mine goal is to showcase all the power I doth bear, regardless of the foe. And that brings me to my next question - is it really necessary to speak that bastardised version of Olde English? Mock me if thou will, but nary has a courtesan found fault in my... speech. You were going to say "tongue", weren't you. True, but that hath a very different meaning, as the mimir wouldst say. Right. Last question, Fou - what's your strategy for beating Miguel? He be no more than a simple fisherman. I shall play to mine own strengths, rather than concentrate on what he may do. Just be careful, you know what happened the last time you were overconfident against a guy who liked to fish. If I be not mistaken, I defeated said "guy" in the arena. Twice, in fact.
