The spirit of the RPGDL is a wondrous thing, dear readers! With so much going on this week, spirits are flying high and everyone is riding on a whole new wave of emotion! Come, fellow Defenders! Let's find out what's so special about this week!

The Results of last week's matches should be your first stop, dear readers. Was Adray able to continue his dominating conquest of Light? Did King Galam fall to the combined might of a swordsman and a mouse? And is Zophar still in line for a second championship? Don't delay, dear readers: the answers are all awaiting you inside!

Now, brave heroes, Week Four awaits your perusal! Hurry on in, and check out the exciting battles contained therein:

Geriatrics aren't necessarily down once they've passed their so-called prime! Adray Lasbard, elderly, and yet still a more capable warrior than many in the higher divisions, is storming Light like no other. Master of martial arts, mighty warrior, holy priestess...none will stand in the way of the mightiest old man in the whole DL, not even the original Final Fantasy White Wizard. Look out Light: the champ is here!

Fun times are in store in Middle this week, as the epic story of the Dragon and the Fox replays for us in real-time. Sly Ursula, Imperial soldier, must outwit Aelia, in whose veins flows the blood of a dragon. Without Ryu on her side, will Ursula find a way to slay a dragon, or will she find herself roasted to a crisp?

Heavy once more hails the arrival and domination of Lloyd Irving, fresh face from Tales of Symphonia. The power of Falcon Crest and his skill with the blade has gotten him past some deadly foes. But will this week be the end of his run, as he faces off against not only someone just as skilled with the blade as him, but also with a significant amount more of brain power?

And Godlike is filled with an old school match that dates back from the RPGP. Citan Uzuki ( no relation to that Shion Uzuki person ) finds himself going toe-to-toe with the Magic Emperor, in a battle that has been hashed out time and time again. Now, in a new medium, will Citan prove himself just as capable of toppling the mightiest sorceror in the worlds, or will it finally be his time to die?

And it's a very good idea to stop by, The Forums, especially since this is a ranking season! Head on over to The Final Cut, and tell us what you think of the games up for ranking debate! Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter, Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, Baldur's Gate, and a surprise face from Shadow Hearts: Covenant are up for ranking consideration. Show your support for your favourite characters, and get involved!

I've run out of witty comments at the moment, so here's the generic "Here's Behind the Scenes with Chisato Madison" spiel:
Welcome to Behind the Scenes. Tonight, we interview eight great heroes, who have all made it to the Season 21 semifinals.
Of course, "great" may be a bit of an overstatement for some of them.
Don't tell me you're still upset about Cecil beating you down back in Season 2.
Come on, he was far too smug in his victory. All that holier than thou attitude, and yet he's still friends with Kain.
It takes a great man to show forgiveness.
Our first guest tonight is one of Ultros' other least favourite heroes. Say hello to White Wizard.
Hello.
Well, you've beaten a little girl and one of the most pathetic joke bosses in Light. You must be proud.
Wins are wins. The important thing is that I continue to do my best, and gain some prestige for the old ways.
True, there are those who always seem to respect nothing but the newest craze.
Which explains why you get a new SUV every six months.
How wasteful.
Yeah, and she doesn't even give us the old ones.
You don't know how to drive!
It's the principle of the thing.
Moving on, please welcome Rebecca to the show.
Hello.
Yes, that's very nice. Now, Rebecca, how have you been?
Fine.
Boy, she's talkative.
You look a little familiar... Dan? Is that you?
Um... no.
But you look so much alike!
Wait, you're telling me that your brother has four arms?
A lot can happen in five years.
Yes, but growing extra appendages isn't exactly a typical result of passing time.
I don't know... I can see a bit of a family resemblance. Mostly the oblivious looks.
Hey!
And on that happy note, let's go from dumb to dumber. Hello, Dekar!
Good day.
I have to admit, I'm a little impressed. You're finally starting to live up to your reputation.
I hope that's my "don't know how to lose" reputation, rather than my "dumbest fighter in Middle" one.
Don't be silly. It could easily be both.
But what about Minsc?
I concede the point, "Dan".
Yes, it's the first one, Dekar.
That's good. I don't like it when people think I'm dumb. It makes me sad. I'll admit that I'm a little slow, but I'm not a drooling moron.
Swords.
Gahhh...
Hey, boss, he's drooling on me. Make it stop!
All right. Just push him off to the side while we chat with Cait Sith. Hello.
...
Cait?
...
Ultros, you see if you can find Reeve.
Got it.
Well, in the meantime, there's something I've always wanted to do.
Will it involve explosions?
Nope, but it will be embarassing.
Sounds good.
All right, just let me fiddle around with that doll for a bit... there!
Hello my baby, hello my honey, hello my ragtime gal. Send me a kiss by wire, baby my heart's on fire. If you refuse me, honey, you'll lose me, and you'll be left alone. Telephone, and tell me I'm your own...
Eh, it's been done.
You can't argue with the classics, though.
I take it you found Reeve?
He regrets the fact that he couldn't attend, but he and some of his friends had a rather pressing appointment with a Shinra-issue taser and the staff behind Advent Children.
Well, you're just in time to chat some more with our next guest.
Octopus.
Paladin.
Well, Cecil, it's been a heck of a run for you. Beating down a dark knight and a dragon, and now face to face with a despotic monarch. You've been a shining example for heroes everywhere. Stop it.
Excuse me?
You're making the rest of us look bad. We're not all rigidly Lawful Good, we can't all fight evil simply because it's there.
A paladin is there to be an example of what you could be, not what you should be. There can be no light without darkness. Besides, it really annoys Edge.
Now that's a noble deed indeed.
Agreed. Wouldn't you agree, Jack?
Annoying Edge? Any time. I like the guy, but you know that he keeps putting it on himself.
Certainly. However, I think we've had enough picking on him for one day.
Jack, you're another early Heavy finalist who never won the title or upgraded. Is it frustrating?
Eh, I don't care that much. I win or lose, I slink back into the background, and I get to go off exploring.
Really? Where will you be headed next?
Actually, Hanpan suggested that we visit TownShip. Something about meeting up with the Shamans for some reason.
Very interesting. Well, our final guest is... um, where's Citan?
(Should we tell her about...)
(No way! Remember what happened last time?)
Um... sorry, boss.
Fine, just close out the show. I'm going to bed.
Hmm. "The Sacred Stones". You say this is a game of some sort?
Just think of it as... research.
