Here we stand again, Brave Defenders of Earth! Welcome back to the RPGDL, and get ready for another week of spectacular battles with some of the strongest RPG characters ever! From Godlike to Light, our brave line-up of fighters is sure to appeal to anyone! So let's get started!

The Week Three Results are up and ready for your perusal! Was Etna able to outsmart the elder Radius in Light? Was the Geohound Ryudo able to silence the canine-esque Elaine? And which Final Fantasy female prevailed in Godlike? Find out inside, dear readers!

Now, the main event, Week Four's Matches, are your next stop, dear readers!

Gryz, strong-willed and silent bird-thing of Motavia, has done quite a bit of damage to Light this season. Perhaps it's because of his gigantic axe, perhaps it's not. But whatever the reason, it's time to batten down, and get ready for a rough semi-finals match. With his foe applying plenty of fiery pressure, Gryz will be happen to have called the desert his home. Will Gryz or his foe fry this week?

Ancient beasts and technology don't always go hand-in-hand, but this week in Middle, old fights new, as Robo finds himself face to face with the ancient dragon Tiamat. What good can come of this oddity of a match? I'm not sure, but as long as it sells tickets, it's fine by me!

Though one might think there's been some manipulating behind the scenes here, Geno surely hasn't had his strings pulled. Taking Heavy by storm has been his theme this season, and he's ready to keep it up. With a skilled ninja waiting for him, Geno's definitely got his work cut out for him. Will the Star Road's Messenger be able to handle such a tricky foe, or will Geno be turned into firewood?

And at the top of the game, it's Zophar, Destroyer of the Blue Star, ready to take on all challengers! Facing off against battle-hardened Melfice, the Horns of Valmar, this is sure to be one of Godlike's most spectacular fights yet! Will the man/woman who destroyed the Blue Star take home the championship he so desperately deserves?

And take a stop by at the Forums while you're here! Engage is some mindless banter about how your day went, or discuss the intriguing workings of one of the current match-ups! The options are endless, dear readers!

Now, we take to Chisato Madison, and her crew at Behind the Scenes, for a very exciting and informative episode of everyone's favourite DL show:
Good evening, and welcome to Behind the Scenes. Tonight, we take a closer look at four of our Season 20 competitors. Please welcome my first guest, Melfice.
Hello.
Melfice, you've always been one of the most intriguing entities in the DL. Your successful career as a chef, your imprisonment and near-escape from Sephiroth's arena with your brother, your Godlike championship. All of these are notable events in your history here, but what specific event would you say is the highlight of your career?
That week that the Prancing Chocobo restaurant was kind enough to let me serve my Wailing Soul Soup alongside their own meals. The Qu can be a little possessive about their kitchens to outsiders, you know.
I can't say that I did know that. I guess you can blame a lifetime of fast food.
The life of a reporter doesn't lend well to a sit-down meal, I take it. Pity.
How do you feel about your upcoming match with Zophar? The two of you seemed to come to an understanding earlier in the season.
He won't hold back, and neither will I. It's just a fight to determine which of us is better, and that's all it can be.
So you have no worries?
No. I will win, or I will go down kicking and screaming with bloodlust.
One last question: what does the immediate future outside the arena hold for you?
I think I may take up another skill, like painting or calligraphy. Anything that could help calm my spirit in times of peace.
Thank you for your time. My Heavy guest tonight is Geno. Hello, Geno.
Hi.
Geno, you're one of the few fighters to have had the chance to fight one of your compatriots. Do you have any advice that you'd give to anyone who has to do so?
No, it's something that everyone has to figure out for themselves. I had no problem, because the Princess and I are not particularly close.
True, you've seemed to make a point of staying out of the limelight in general.
I don't think the powers above are too thrilled with me being here.
Then why are you?
What can I say? It's interesting here. There are many things to do besides fight in the arena, though you shouldn't tell some people that.
Of all the people who you've met, who would you say has been the most interesting?
Crono. You know, for someone who doesn't speak very often, he can be very eloquent.
It's good to speak with you again.
Likewise.
Coming to us now from Middle, arguably the most venerable fighter in the entire Duelling League, Tiamat.
Hello.
Tiamat, I've heard that you've been mounting an anti-Dungeons and Dragons campaign? Are you really that concerned with the messages that it offers to people?
Actually, I couldn't care less about whether or not they convince people to go out and slaughter monsters. I'm just mad about how I got stiffed in the royalties.
The royalties?
Come now, don't you remember the old television show they had? They used my likeness, with my permission of course. However, our agreement was that I would get paid a small sum in royalties for the next hundred years, and the checks stopped coming a few months ago. It's not much, but it's the principle of the thing.
I take it that's been why you haven't been seen much until this season.
Of course. We all have lives outside the arena.
Continuing on, your opponent this week is rather formidable. Personally, how do you prepare for a difficult match?
I'll let you know when I have one. A few of the other fiends have come to me with their advice on defeating Robo, and I've taken their words into consideration.
Including Valvalis?
Not... exactly. Though I'd like her input most of all, given that she's already beaten him, she doesn't like me very much. It's her vanity - she can't bear to have a creature such as myself as a fellow Fiend of Wind.
Thank you for your time.
No, thank you. My message has been spread out now, and that's a greater reward than any illumination that I may have given yourself.
My final guest for tonight should need no introduction. Though he's usually rather quiet, he has consented to speak to us.
Hi.
Rude, things are looking up for you. Though this is your first season since your downgrade, you've maintained a positive attitude. Now in the semi-finals, you're on the brink of earning a shot at returning to Middle. How confident are you in your chances?
I'm not taking anything for granted.
Have you and the other Turks remained close in your time here at the DL?
Sure. We do lots of things together.
One last thing: Do you think you could get me an advance copy of Advent Children?
No. I only get one free copy, and it's for me.
All right, I understand. Thank you, and for Behind the Scenes, good night.
