Chuck is not a lucky man. He watched his dad get crushed by a boulder and had his mom die soon after. He saw his friend get taken away and was almost hanged for a crime he didn't commit. Then, when he finally became a certified Golem Hunter, he learned that his girlfriend had become a servant for the Veruni. It's not too surprising that Chuck honestly believed that all those he cares for disappear from around him, though he really wasn't making things better for himself with that self-loathing, defeatist attitude. It certainly didn't help him in his relationship with Lucille, who eventually got tired of his tendency to run away from his problems. He finally did learn his lessons though. Now, he's a man of resolve, willing to face whatever challenges head on.
And oh, what challenges await him in the DL arena. Chuck is well-prepared for them though. While his Moon Medium is lacking in the power department, Status Lock and Land Steal are the bane of status-slingers and buffers everywhere. For any other obstacles he meets, the might of his pile-driver shall suffice, especially since its smashing power increases with every blow he takes. Backed by his new-found resolution, Chuck will fight on until sweet victory or the bitter end.
