The Mad Monk who controlled the Russian Empire from behind the scenes, Rasputin has suffered quite a bit in his conversion to the RPG world. No longer does one need poison, bullets, drowning, or any other means to be killed. Now, nearly anything can do him in. Not really great for someone who holds the power of Asmodeus, one of the three demon lords, inside himself, now is it? He's still manipulative as ever, though: he still has control over the minds of the czar and czarina, and can even get pretty women in bed with him, so he's still got some of those hypnotic powers he had in the "real world".

As a fighter, Rasputin plays the part of a mage very well. With delightfully evil magics, he can play havoc with any Middle he comes up against, and possibly, someday, prove to the world that real life characters can make accurate transitions to video games.
