Lyon defines herself as a protector. It is not only her job, but her identity – always the bodyguard at the side of her prince. She takes this role very seriously, and only under VERY extenuating circumstances does she ever leave the prince by himself – she will protect him even in a place where he is ‘very safe.’ And keep him safe, she does! As a child, Lyon was kidnapped by a group of assassins with the intent of turning her into a killing machine. Surprisingly, this training worked against them when the benevolent king of Sol Falena, Ferid, rescued her and raised her as a member of the Queen’s Knights. She and the Prince became fast companions and Lyon has been more than happy to serve as his bodyguard ever since.
Lyon is a (newly) trained member of the Queen’s Knights – skilled at fighting with her unique switchblade katana, Orchid, and with the power of runes, particularly the powerful Falenan treasure, the Twilight Rune.
