The great magician Mazus has a reputation to uphold. As the rival of the legendary Crowley, Mazus must prove to the world that he is indeed the more powerful of the two. There is that pesky problem of mountains and rivers and whatnot being destroyed in their duels however...

So the Dueling League is the perfect solution to the problem! Things blowing up is the norm here, so Mazus can prove his superiority over his rival by being successful in the arena. He can let his destructive tendencies go to work in Heavy, unleashing the might of his Thunder and Fire runes. And if he combines their power to unleash the awe inspiring Blazing Camp... his opponents can do little other than pray for a quick death.
