Rinoa Heartilly is certainly a one of a kind lady. She first encounters Squall at a ball, where they romantically fall into each other’s arms and dance the night away. After that, Rinoa sends for the SeeD group to assist her in her rebellion, and tells her dedicated menservants to address her as princess. And she is a princess in her heart, and her ravishing beauty captivates even the coldest mercenary (hint hint: Squall). She encounters her old flame Seifer during her travels, and realizes that he has moved on past her. So she decides to screw with Squall’s mind for a while, but then goes into a coma because she is secretly a sorceress. She wakes up and gets junctioned to some weird he-she sorceress, and Squall has to save her. But she comes through in the clutch when the party needs her! Rinoa is a mage, and has the most glorious, magnificent weapon ever; the pinwheel! Her DL career is very rocky, since she downgraded a division after only her first fight. But the show must go on for Rinoa, and she’ll insure that it does!
