Quistis Trepe may be a little scandalous and vapid and negligent and god knows what else, but she’s a fighter at heart. Her main motivation as a character is her girlish crush on her student Squall Leonheart. Having to watch the man she loved fall into another woman’s arms after she stood by him through thick and thin was a painful experience for the emotional teacher. While the weaponry may make her look like one black leather outfit away from a dominatrix, in reality, she is a weak and gingerly woman without cruel intentions. She is a pretty and somewhat petite lady but she’s tough nevertheless. She’s had some rotten luck in the DL; beaten by two Final Fantasy mages, and has only beaten the less-than-respectable Evil Gaia. But she will rise from the ashes again and see another fight.
