You might expect someone holding the titles of Mage General of Etruria and Count of Reglay, and the sole student of Archsage Athos to be a pompous, arrogant fellow, but it wouldn't be further from the truth. Lord Pent is a laid back fellow, perfectly happy to take some time off his duties to do some treasure hunting in the Nabata desert. He's also loyal to those he holds as friends, willing to hang around and aid Eliwood and his company long after his duty to his country alone called for.

While Pent's match may have been less than successful, that hasn't discouraged the Mage General in the slightest from looking forward to his next opportunity in the arena. And in the meantime, there are plenty of interesting people to converse with and many fascinating magicks to observe, alongside his wife Louise.
