Gruga is a big man. With axes. Normally, one would see him as the traditional 'strongman' and think there was no depth to him. In truth, he is a man who fights to bring sight back to his precious adopted daughter.

Gruga overcomes his stereotype in the arena as well. While he does have the excellent damage output expected from a hulking giant of a man, he also has an accurate confusion spell, a few buffing spells, and the absolutely broken Invincible skill. Although he doesn't have the MP reserves and tricks that make the other Invincible heroes so frightening, Gruga more than makes up for it with raw power.
