Some people fight for money, some for pride, and others out of obligation. Paulette, however, fights for her love and admiration for her lord, the half-Deimos half-human Kharg. She is very happy to do this job, and does it without complaints despite the lack of attention that she is given. She watched her father as he was savagely murdered by the alpine Deimos Volk, and she has hated the monster-like creatures ever since. But, showing her strong mental strength and good nature, she worked with a party of Deimos, including her father’s murderer. She put her hatred aside to save the world, and this is what makes her an admirable woman and an excellent retainer to Kharg even now.
