Mana Khemia added at 7/10. Cool gameplay, has some neat plot ideas, and two or three really awesome characters. Doesn't excel enough (slow start, in particular) overall to merit inclusion with the more solid 8's, though.

And the usual round of Elfboy downgrades as games age poorly:

Wild Arms ACF: -1, now at 6/10. Still has too much of WA1's poor directions (argh), not to mention plot.
Grandia 2: -1, now at 5/10. Braindead easy gameplay has its limits, especially when saddled with GRANDIA PLOT (it is good for Grandia plot, but still earns the label).
Digital Devil Saga: -1, now at 4/10, where it began. Yeah, I think DDS2 was pulling its score up a bit.

I'll admit, I don't know as many RPGs as I probably should...
Also, I personally don't know what games count as RPGs - for example, I'd still say Fire Emblem & Disgaea are more strategy than RPG, and Kingdom Hearts is more Adventure, but I'll include them here anyways.

5/5 - Pure awesome.

Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer's Call (Nocturne) - One of my favourite two games ever. Can't decide between this and Smash Bros. Melee.

I am going to say that SO4 is probably an 8/10. It's a fun game and I'm happy that a SO is a fucking sci-fi game for once, but they seriously drew out the angsty bit in that game. Also, it needed more STEPHEN KENNI.

Added Star Ocean at a 3/10.  Game sucks, but is breakable enough that you can just steamroll it with less pain.
Added Star Ocean 4: The Last Hope at 3/10.  Could've been great, but has too many polish issues and bad design decisions.  After a point it just kept dropping and here it ends.  Still kneejerking it better than most 3s, but not good enough to fit in the 4/10 slot.

Moved Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 from 3/10 to 4/10 (+1).  The more I think about it, my feelings for the game were partially determined by my mood at the time, and it's not as bad as I thought.  Persona 4 kind of helped prove this.  Still think it's not a good game but doesn't deserve to be with the 3s.  Granted, could change my mind on that again.
