Zidane is a saiyan.

When FF9 first came out, many questions arose due to Zidane's tail. What is he? Human?

People even made half jokes about him being a saiyan. Let's just say that's not far from the truth.
Okay the game SAYS that he's a genome, but thats a bold faced lie.

Let's look at the facts people.



His tail is the first hint. Each Saiyin is born with a tail that amplifies their power. Zidane is the tied for the 2nd strongest character in the game. (2nd With Beatrix, 1st is Amarant)

Next his trance form.



A purple aura surrounds him, slightly spiked hair, and a power increase. Clearly he's a super saiyan at this point.
There is a rather large misconception surrounding this form.

He is a Super Saiyin 4.

This is FALSE!!!
Zidane is nowhere NEAR the strength of a super saiyan 4. He stays at Super Saiyan 1 throughout the game. Nothing more, nothing less.
 
But he's pink/red
Irregardless, his power isn't near the strength of a Super Saiyan 4.


However...




Trance Kuja is clearly a Super Saiyan 4. He is undoubtedly the STRONGEST character in FF9. (Not even Frieza
Necron comes close to his level) Being able to wipe out the party instantly with his powerful Ultima spell.



The only other Saiyan in FF9 is Mikoto, who hasn't shown ANY fighting capability. (although it can be assumed she's reasonably powerful)

Zidane: 1 500 000 000
Kuja: 99999999999999999999999999
Mikoto: ???
Necron: 1200 000 000

Interstingly though aren't some sort of power levels given in FFIX about genomes, Zidane and Kuja?

Nope. The only thing noted was that Kuja,Zidane and Mikoto had souls. (the others were empty)
Zidane was noted to eventually surpass Kuja.

Thats a load of a bull after Trance Kuja. Nothing in FF9 beats Trance Kuja.

Eh, even if Zidane's a Saiyan, he's not half as good a one as Ramza.  I mean, let that guy stand in one spot and scream for a few episodes and he'll move at relativistic speeds and crack planets with his bare hands.

I also forgot to mention that Solution 9 that Zidane uses in Dissidia is basically a rapid KI blast.

I fail to see how that proves that he is Saiyan any more than Solution 9 has always suggested that Zidane is in fact Ed Wood.
