All "info" is from Sir Alex.

So here we have a stat topic for Kanon, the semi-famous visual novel/RPG from Key.  This topic should be mostly spoiler-free (and, for those of you who've played Kanon, or seen the anime, should stay that way), but present people with a good idea of what the characters can do.  Since we're running out of ranking ideas, well... >_>

Explanations:

Durability:  Ability to survive physical punishment, should be self-explanatory.
Willpower:  Measures the character's ability to endure mental punishment, such as scary movies or terrible puns.  Functions as status defense, may apply as MDef to other games.
Strength:  The cornerstone stat of physical offense, as usual.
Charisma:  Determines the effectiveness of mental powers and mind-affecting statuses used by the character.
Speed:  How fast the character can move.  Also affects evasion.

Yuuichi Aizawa
"It was snowing..."

Or whatever you care to name him.  Being the protagonist, his stats naturally vary somewhat according to what paths the player chooses.

Durability:  High, below only Akiko and Mai.  He can and does take quite a bit of punishment without any ill effects.
Willpower:  Average to very high - Yuuichi's willpower is highly dependant on the player's choices, but he'll have at least some no matter what.
Strength:  High, can carry moving boxes.
Charisma:  Very high.
Speed:  Above average, enough for a fair bit of evasion, though he can't come close to outrunning Nayuki.

Equipment:  CD Player - Lets Yuuichi change the music.  No DL effect.

Skillset:
Selective Amnesia - Forgets childhood events to increase Yuuichi's willpower.  Wears off slowly over time.
Saying Strange Things - Yuuichi spins an outrageous yarn with a perfectly straight face, inflicting confusion on the opponent with high probability.
Thwack - A chastising chop.  Low damage and chance of inflicting sadness, super effective vs Makoto.

Strengths/Weaknesses:  Resistant to confusion, immune to death, weak to porn and schoolwork.

Evaluation:  Yon standard all-round good main character.  Yuuichi doesn't have that much in the way of physical offense, but he can tank through virtually anything, and his irresistable charisma lets him pile on the status.  Probably a High Middle.

Nayuki Minase
"Do you remember my name?"

Yuuichi's narcoleptic cousin, housemate and childhood friend.

Durability:  Above average.
Willpower:  Average, maybe a touch below.
Strength:  Low.  She's thankful Ayu and Makoto exist.
Charisma:  Average.
Speed:  Game-best, thanks to her track club... when she's awake.

Equipment:
Keropi - A stuffed frog.  Raises resistance to sadness.

Skillset:
G'night - Inflicts sleep status.  Self-targeting only.  100%.
Strawberry Jam - Her favorite.  Moderate healing, can be used while asleep.
Strawberry Sundae - Extorts the opponent into buying Nayuki a treat... or two.  Heals Nayuki for a lot, removes a small amount of money from her opponent and cures all sadness on the field.
Pouty Face - Inflicts sadness on opponent, moderate success rate.
Alarm Clock - Cures Nayuki of sleep?  0% success rate.

Strengths/Weaknesses:  Resistant to schoolwork, immune to creepy incest vibes, weak to confusion, extremely weak to sleep.

Evaluation:  An interesting character, to say the least.  Her stats aren't much, outside of a high speed that does her surprisingly little good due to her narcoleptic tendancies.  Incredibly hard to take down via damage, but cries to status and can't do anything offensive except make pouty faces.  Puny/Light.

Ayu Tsukimiya
"It's a promise."

A cute, quirky girl who coincidentally runs into Yuuichi disturbingly often.

Durability:  Low; she can take a few hits, but she'd rather not.
Willpower:  Gameworst.
Strength:  Very low.
Charisma:  Generally considered gamebest (except when Kitagawa is around).
Speed:  Below average.

Equipment:
Winged Backpack - Increases charisma by adding angelic symbolism.

Skillset:
Taiyaki Thievery - The art of, ah, obtaining sweets when one has forgotten their purse.  Steals multiple items, high success rate.
Hug Tackle - A high-powered physical attack, despite what Ayu claims.  Low accuracy.
Just Happened To Be Passing - Ayu raises her accuracy, whether by magic or by stalking.
Emotional Reunion Charge - A super-powered all-out hug tackle for good friends.  Very high power, very low accuracy, may inflict damage on Ayu if she misses.
Ugu~ - Ayu's cute trademark sound.  Inflicts charm on opponent, high success rate.

Strengths/Weaknesses:  Any damage to Ayu inflicts sadness status on her, weak to confusion, immune to schoolwork.

Evaluation:  Ayu comes out as a fairly interesting dueller.  Her general strategy is to charm the foe and boost accuracy, then charge and tackle for a win.  It doesn't always work, due to her low durability, dodgy accuracy even when boosted and that horrible strength dragging down her good tech multipliers, but it's funny when it does.   Middle/Light Borderline

Makoto Sawatari
"Springtime will come soon... I wish it were always spring..."

The mischevious girl who hates Yuuichi but hangs around him anyways, without knowing why...

Durability:  Below average
Willpower:  High
Strength:  Gameworst...
Charisma:  Above average
Speed:  Slow

Equipment:
Piro - A stray cat, roughly Siamese, worn in the helmet slot.  Increases charisma but decreases her willpower.

Skillset:
Amnesia - forgets about everything to boost willpower.  Better than Yuuichi's version of the skill.
Prepare Yourself! - Launches a flurry of blows upon a most hated enemy.  Multiple physical attacks with low multipliers... often reduced to 0 damage due to her strength.
Prank - Launches a random attack ranging in strength from annoying to potentially lethal.  50% chance to backfire, in which case Makoto takes the damage instead.
Nikuman and Manga - Good food and good fun, provides Makoto with full healing and cures all status on her, but then inflicts confusion on herself.
Makottyish - Speakachoos in a stranghikan language.  Nobody understands what this does.

Strengths/Weaknesses:  Immune to schoolwork and sleep, weak to confusion.

Evaluation:  A fun skillset backed by mediocre stats, except willpower.  Makoto pranks and pranks and recovers to do it again, but only if she doesn't get distracted, backfired on, or knocked out.  High Light.

Mai Kawasumi
"I am a hunter of evil spirits."

The creepy upperclassman girl who walks around school at night with a sword, never talking, never smiling...

Durability:  Very high
Willpower:  Very high
Strength:  Gamebest
Charisma:  Gameworst
Speed:  High

Equipment:
Sword - A real and functional, albeit plain, sword.  Increases strength.

Skillset:
Slash - It's what swords do best.  A highly damaging physical attack.
Stab - It's what swords do second best.  More damage but less accuracy.
"........" - A taciturn nature renders Mai immune to status effects.
Eat - Eats whatever Japanese food is available.  Restores
 HP but lowers Speed.

Strengths/Weaknesses:
Weak to jokes regarding the use of Eat and her rather... close female friend Sayuri.

Evaluation:  Your typical all-out physical fighter with high defenses and speed.  Her skill in carving things up while shrugging off attacks translates well to the DL, she probably makes some sort of Heavy.

Shiori Misaka
"They're called miracles because they don't happen."

A perfectly plain vanilla young lady who doesn't go out much.

Durability:  Average
Willpower:  Average
Strength:  Average
Charisma:  Average
Speed:  Average

Equipment:
Shawl - Halves damage from cold.

Skillset:
Vanilla Ice Cream, Please - Eats a cup of plain frozen dessert with her opponent, inflicting moderate cold damage on both.
Standing Outside - Calls up a snowstorm that inflicts minor cold damage on both her and her opponent every turn.
TV Drama Scene - Watching one of her old favorites restores a mediocre amount of HP to Shiori and may cause both her and the opponent to skip their next turns.
Snowball - Throws one for minor cold damage.
Snowball With A Rock In It - Throws one for minor cold damage and good physical damage!

Strengths/Weaknesses:
 Totally neutral to everything.

Evaluation:  Shiori's cold-mage strategy is of average effectiveness.  Middle.  Shut down by cold defense.

And also two temps:

Jun Kitagawa
"Isn't somebody going to shut you two up?"

Yuuichi's perpetually easygoing classmate and friend.

Durability:  Average
Willpower:  Average
Strength:  Above average
Charisma:  Gamebest when he's around, surpassing even Ayu's.
Speed:  Above average

Equipment:
Dress Suit - Increases Kitagawa's charisma still further.

Skillset:
Oy, Yuuichi! - Pointing out the obvious to his friends boosts a teammate's stats by a factor of Kitagawa's charisma.
Witty Retort - Delivers quite the burn, deals damage based on Kitagawa's charisma.
I'm Going To The Ball - Heading to the happening place adds Kitagawa's charisma to his evasion.

Strengths/Weaknesses:
Immune to all status and stat downs due to mindless fangirl support.

Evaluation:  It's inexplicable, but Kitagawa is The Man, and his insane charisma carries him quite far.  Probably belongs in Heavy.

Akiko Minase
"Oh, my!"

Nayuki's mother, Yuuichi's aunt, mistress of the house and thorougly inexplicable.

Durability:  Ludicrously high.
Willpower:  Even higher.  Nothing fazes Akiko.
Strength:  High
Charisma:  High
Speed:  Below average

Equipment:
None

Skillset:
Gentle Smile - Applies hand to chin to lessen the effects of troublesome things.  Increases Akiko's durability and willpower.
Mystery Jam - Nobody knows what's in it, and the flavor is... indescribable.  Can target self or opponent; heals Akiko but deals heavy internal damage to anyone else.
Soft Chastisement - Drops all the opponent's stats.

Strengths/Weaknesses:
Immune to all status except Undead and all stat downs.

Evaluation:  Auntie Akiko.  So inhumanly good it's scary.  Nothing, but nothing, damages her, and she can just boost herself up, recover and chastise anyone else into submission.  Akiko for Godlike.

Averages!  Everyone's favorite things!

Durability: (Akiko) >>>> Mai > Yuuichi > Nayuki > Shiori = (Kitagawa) > Makoto >>> Ayu
Willpower: (Akiko) >>> (Boosted Makoto and Yuuichi) >>> Mai > Makoto > Yuuichi > Shiori = (Kitagawa) > Nayuki >>> Ayu
Strength: Mai >> (Akiko) > Yuuichi > (Kitagawa) > Shiori >>>> Nayuki > Ayu > Makoto
Charisma: (Kitagawa) > Ayu >>>>>>>>>>> Yuuichi > Akiko > Makoto > Nayuki = Shiori >>>>>> Mai
Speed: Nayuki (awake) > Mai > Yuuichi = (Kitagawa) > Shiori > (Akiko) > Ayu > Makoto > Nayuki (asleep)

There is an off chance that this topic may or may not be a parody and not meant to be taken completely seriously.  Or at all.
