Ys Chronicles

-Link got his good form shown off, so Adol felt left out. This should be remedied.

Ys Chronicles endgame is Ys II's endgame.

Assumed enemy Str/Def: 278/218

- Adol can not use items or change equipment/magic for boss fights... he basically equips a magic for a fight and can not change during the course of it. I assume this holds true for duels as well!

- Time Magic and Fire Magic are a bit faster than bopping off (bosslike) enemies with physicals. You may want to give these some speed respect if you are so inclined.

Damage average: 100 (Kill point 250)

Adol Christin:
Level: 51
HP: 255
MP: 255
Str: 243
Def: 243
Durability: 100% (106% with Goddess Ring equipped)

Equipment (stats already factored in)
Cleria Sword: 83 Atk
Cleria Shield: 38 Def
Cleria Armor: 45 Def

Accessory:
Falcon Idol: increases accuracy of fire magic shots. Charged fire magic, upon impact, splits into 6 small fireballs that all hit again
[Goddess Ring: +2 Def/Str]
[Ring of Ease: Halves all MP costs]
[Cleria Ring: Grants low (~10%) evade/dodge rate]

Attack: 25 physical damage

Magic:
Fire Magic (0.6 MP): Charged fireball: 50 damage. With Falcon Idol this splits off into 6 fireballs which brings the total to 100 damage.
*[Time Magic (6 MP): Instantly freezes time upon use. Starts wearing off after 3 seconds, but can be infinitely refreshed in the short 'warmup time' as it starts to wear off. Good for 4 attacks per use (being conservative). So blowing all his MP on this leads Adol to do 8500 damage.]
[Shield Magic (* MP): Always active as long as equipped. Drains 2 MP/sec and makes Adol invincible. Any hits that he sustains drain 7 MP (per hit) regardless of the attack power of the attack. Does NOT benefit from Ring of Ease]

Fire Magic is for the purposes of damage averages, but Time Stop is the 'default' magic.

*Hero's Charm. Any heroine that Adol meets is instantly charmed and falls hopelessly in love with him.

Comments: Time Stop -> You die. The only kink to this strategy is melee immunity, which Adol does not deal with well since it leaves him with only fire elemental magic. If an enemy would bring to bear overkill damage before you see Adol stopping Time (or if they have some anti-time-stop gimmick), he can use Shield Magic to tank like a champion (although this removes his fire magic from the equation). Godlike.
