For reasons of varying people, rotation is good.  It's been four years since we've done Texas, and two years since we've done northeast.

For monetary reasons, large airports are good.  Although hmm...I suppose Austin is no Dallas airport-wise, but it's probably still cheaper than WV.


(Side note: Atlanta Georgia apparently has the most active airport in the world...not that I'm established enough to feel comfortable hosting).

Yeah, I'm not adverse to hosting myself, but my location would involve increased travel costs for everyone.  3 hours farther south than Austin by car, and not a major air destination.

I may be able to host at my parents' house at some point (possibly late next summer depending on what kind of summer employment I obtain).  Haven't asked them, but I imagine they'd be fine with it if planned far enough in advance.  Don't know if there'd be much interest in doing it in MA, though.

Yeah, Hartsfield-Jackson airport is the shit.

Totally willing to go to a con in Texas. It'll probably be cheaper since I'm not too far away, plus I'd have other more feasible options to make it there. Just need a time (whenever), and will pray that I'm able to make it. I WANNA HUG PEOPLE.
