With his victory over drag(o)onslayer Lloyd, Ryu is on the downhill slope to claim another Godlike title. His next opponent, Terra, has little in the ways of stopping this draconic juggernaut. With the speed advantage, Ryu will access a dragon form before Terra can even move, and Terra's esper form pales in comparison to the power of the Golden Kaiser. Immune to her piddly status and with the vitality to survive more than a handful of Ultima spells, Ryu can easily withstand any assault Terra tries while he shatters her body with his devastating Bonebreak and Kaiserbreath attacks. An easy match for this hailed dragon prince.

Terra has had a wonderful season so far, and a championship is within grasp. And now, it's time to take on her greatest challenge yet. Ryu is ready to conquer yet another season, and Terra is the only remaining hope against the dragon! Thankfully, this victory is quite possible. Once morphed, Terra can stand toe-to-toe with all of Ryu's dragons, Ultima tearing them apart in a matter of moments. Her Drain spell will keep her alive in the face of fire, and a well-placed Break can even end the battle before the dragon-boy breathes. With her great will leading the way, nothing can stop Terra. Not even the defending champion.

If you were to take a quick glance at this match, you might say Wugui is screwed. After all, Chaos is a boss with a physical, a combination known to make the man from Kowloon weep. However, it's a little known fact that, while Chaos is resistant to the effects of Instant Death, he is not totally immune to it! A fatal detail that Wugui is bound to capitalize on with a little Game of Death. People may believe that the game is over for the demonic criminal, but the truth is playtime has only just begun.

V

S

Having crushed some of the best Godlike has to offer under his numerous appendages, Chaos now faces an...interesting opponent. Wugui's immunity to magic may mean some of Chaos's devastating abilities won't work, but he still has a nasty physical that will leave the minor demon reeling, and being mostly immune to Game of Death means Wugui will struggle to break past Chaos's impressive defense. Chaos can play his own Game of Death against Wugui.

A dragon emperor fighting a sorceress who's been trapped in the vacuum of space? Doesn't seem like much of a fight...and it's not! With an incalculable durability advantage over his frail FF8 opponent, Zog can easily weather the puny spells the sorceress hurls at him. The reverse is not true, however, as the sorceress will quickly crumple beneath Zog's onslaught of highly damaging Chars. Just another stepping stone as Zog climbs his way back up to the ranks of Godlike.

A fearsome face for a fearsome power: that's Adel's game. After blasting her way past the first two rounds, Adel meets a real challenge. The durable Zog is a dreaded enemy for any fighter to face, but even he can’t stand up to Adel. Ultima will smash the magically frail dragon emperor into minute pieces, and the sorceress from Esthar will enjoy the rare speed advantage. It may not be an easy battle, but Adel will let nothing short of Laguna (...) stop her from reaching Godlike.

Arr! Two matches and two distinct fighters were splattered by the power of the Hand of Fate. Rydia's a very different opponent in both looks and personality. A calm, female mage... and one who Drachma won't have time to fire off a Hand of Fate against. Thankfully for Rakham's hunter, a Tackle is a brutal move in of itself, and more than enough to level Rydia with a single use. Good thing for his trusty Shard of Purity, too: he'll need the resistance to status to help give him the willpower to shrug off Rydia's dangerous status attacks.

V

S

Yaoi-bait and crass little boys can't stop the sheer cuteness of a pretty little girl calling forth an ancient dragon to incinerate the arena. Rydia's on a run this season, and there's very little that can stand in her way. Not even the salty old fisherman Drachma, a wall among men, can do it now! While his powerful Hand of Fate would scare most, Rydia fears not. Bahamut will rip through Drachma's old body before he can prepare to launch the dreaded attack, and should that not suffice, there's always a few other options for Rydia. Like turning the pirate into a frog or pig!

Middle hasn't been able to argue with a frying pan to the face, and it doesn't seem like that's going to change! The Princess of Mushroom Kingdom is ready to cook up some punishment this week, all on the way to a championship. The Metal Demon Alhazad and the Princess have quite a bit in common - both are very reliant on putting foes to sleep, and both are immune to said trick. Thus, this battle turns into a match of pure slugging, and with the Princess's healing, a couple frying pans to the face should be easily available to the proud portabella princess.

V

S

The mad Metal Demon has yet to lose a Middle match, and a simple princess has little chance of changing this. Toadstool's healing may have gotten her past Bowser and Ptolomea, but Alhazad is a more devious opponent. After a casting of Slow Down, the speed advantage will be his, and then it's just a simple matter of overwhelming the princess with his powerful magic attacks. One who called herself a princess once stood against Alhazad before, and she stood as little chance as the one who dares to face the most deadly Metal Demon of them all.

I VANT YOUR BLOOD BLEHBLEHBLEH! -Ahem-. After a Light championship many seasons ago, the Crimson Noble returned determined to get her name engraved upon the DL as a champion once again - and she is closer and closer to that goal. A pathetic commoner like Barret can not hope to withstand her Red Magic, her outstanding beauty or her amusing little toys. The Noblesse of Filgaia is too close to lose ground now, and, if nothing else, Marivel could just take the old bloodsucking vampire route to win, unsophisticated as it may be.

V

S

Barret's runaway dominance of Middle has already seen him past an earth shaman and a wheeling, dealing airship pilot; a vampire certainly rounds out the set of oddity. But really, Barret's life has always been strange: giant rocks threatening to crush his world, tentacled space monsters, silver haired sociopaths, mad scientists, WEAPONs, Cloud... nothing can really phase the AVALANCHE leader anymore. So, when you break it all down, does a vampire really stand that much of a chance against the psychological rock that is Barret? Not likely.

Thus far, Franz has defeated a smelly ape and a dragon; that his next opponent is a ninja should be no surprise. Perhaps, he'll meet a pirate next. In any case, the legionaire has a simple, though not necessarily easy, battle ahead of him. The taciturn ninja may be faster than Franz, but his lightning blasts will strike hard against Watari's lacking magical defenses. It will be a hard fought victory, but Franz has the tools, the talent, and the will to win and advance to the next inevitable RPG cliche.

V

S

The ninja will always win. They are skilled in deadly arts that no simple soldier with a spear could ever comprehend. Watari has the speed advantage over his fellow Fire Bringer, and also in every single possible way. Watari not only goes first, but he is recruitable first and betrayed his people first - take that, Franz. This match will be sealed with faster attacks, better dodging and counters; this might be a match where Watari actually draws that blade of his rather than just throwing darts all the time.

The smell of victory is sweet, as Peppita Rosetti comes closer to a title. With one match left before the finals, this little circus acrobat is going to give it her all! And she'll need all of her talents for this fight here: Yang, after all, could pose a problem. Thankfully, Peppita has little to worry: she can stifle Yang's battle cry with little thought, and proceed to do her best! With a flurry of furry Fairie Friends, Peppita can easily knock Yang down for the count. And should Yang manage to wound her, a Healing Dance will keep her in the game. With nothing left to lose, Peppita's ready to show the might of the Rosetti troupe!

V

S

Yang's streak of breezy maches continues this week as he faces, of all Lights, a hyperactive little girl who shares his passion for martial arts. Yang will inflict punishing damage with his roundhouse kicks and chronic sneezing, while Peppita struggles to get past his adequate defense. And as for those who may doubt Yang's resolve to win a match against such a disarming opponent, rest assured that any guilt from fighting the match pales in comparison to the beatdown that awaits him if Yang's wife finds out he forfeited.

Gotta Gotta Catch Catch 'Em 'Em All All
~Mepmep

Finally able to track down the ultimate pokemon, Ash turned his has and heaved his masterball at the sleeping Mewtwo. However, as he threw another masterball came from the other direction and hit Mewtwo at the exact same time.

Ash turned and saw someone dressed in enough rags to cover his or her entire body. Furious, Ash yelled at this unknown opponent.

Ash: Who the hell are you!?!
Gogo: Who the hell are you!?!
Ash: I'm a pokemon master!
Gogo: I'm a pokemon master!
Ash: This is my catch!
Gogo: This is my catch!
Ash: We'll battle for it!
Gogo: We'll battle for it!

Ash had with him of course his Pikachu, Charizard, Blastoise, and Venosaur. He also had with him Butterfrie and his newly acquired Articuno.
Gogo, having all of Ash's skills as a trainer, brought along Droguza, Umaro, Mog, Ultros, Mogu and Jogurt!

Ash started the match with Blastoise, Gogo with Jogurt. It's a 6 on 6 and no swapping during battle is allowed, only when one of the fighters is defeated.

Another Convert?
~Sei

"Hi hi, and welcome to Lovingly, Hearilly yours! The Radio Show where I help you convert your poor boyfriend, brother, father, best friend, and relative thrice removed from having a cold, icky, and generally drab and boring personality to a cheerful, optimistic, and most importantly, loving character that you can take home to show to mom, dad, and little sister without embarassment! I'm Rinoa Heartily, your host, and it looks like we already have our first letter!"

Dear Rinoa,
I don't know what to do! My son was so obedient before, but now he's into that goth look and wears nothing but trench coats and other black clothes! All he does now is sulk, and pout over his rival beating him. The other day, I said hi to him, and do you know what he said? He said 'hi back! Where's the 'I miss you!' and 'I always think about you, mom!'? He's such an ingrate now, and I don't know what to do. Rinoa, could you help me change my son to what he was before?

Love,
Jenova

"Oh, such a sad and tragic but so familiar story! I know exactly how you feel! Why, Squall was just like that before I changed him for the better! Don't worry miss Jenova, Sephiroth is in good hands! Before this day is over, he'll be the bestest child you have ever had!"
